How to explain what is Illustration Friday? Original idea: every Monday a subject is chosen (defined by a word, a phrase, an idea, image, which is) and the fans to the illustration are following seven to develop their artistic potential and to create an original work that evokes the proposed subject to them. Reason why I have been able to verify, is all type of participants: from the professionals of the drawing, of the digital creation of images or it photographs, to the creators of the most laborious pothook-poor men denied for the art in no of its forms like I. But that me intimidate-nor to the rest of those of the squad of tail-each one does not stretch pelín and arrives a little every week further on. The image that I present/display this week, associate to the idea that evokes the word to me "ancient", is simply a manipulation with GIMP of a photography of one of the first typewriters that they were constructed in this country. By means of filters I reduced the photography to edges, I smoothed the contours, I stumped here and there, and I tried to give a texture of strong paper on which a fine charcoal has been used to draw up an intrincate drawing in which it is possible to be appreciated that mixture of lines and so typical ellipses of this type object. Finally, I applied a corresponding effect to spill drops of water on the drawing and to leave these they soaked it and they defined small zones where the grays are amalgamated following no rule in individual, thus reaching the final result.
